Default Alarm system reset

My alarm is stuck in the unlock mode or something - when i hit lock they lock and then unlock again - when i was in Florida the dealer gave me a system of turning the key to get out of this mode - my mechanic said to turn the key on and press the remote button 5 times but that doesnt work - anyone know how to reset this?

This is also a sign of your door being out of alingment.....can you lock the doors electricaly from inside by pusing the lock button on the car counsle....if it goes right back to unlock this means one or both of your doors are out of alingment.....

sounds like one of the power lock adjustment rods either came loose or is out of adjustment as mentioned above.

this lock problem is happening to me AGAIN!

car will lock then unlock right away, even from inside. the doors seem aligned...and this just suddenly happened.

the only way to lock the car is to manually do it from the DRIVER'S door and it goes without any problem. but it cannot do it from passenger door or via the alarm button.

what do i do? would be nice to bring it to dealer but the car is now here in the philippines.

help
