Default 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago Preview

Here's a new preview on the 2011 Lamborghini Murcielago, with information on the new car, as well as some background history and competitors it will face. Also available is a photo / wallpaper gallery.

"Each decade Lamborghini presents a completely new supercar that aims at the leadership of its class. At the beginning of 2011, the Italian car will launch a successor for the currently in production Murciélago, that will try to attain the purpose of every Lamborghini ever, that of being better than the competitor from Maranello..."

Interesting air duct arrangement. I suppose this is to increase greenhouse area, therefore increasing outward (to the rear) visibility.

Im sure that's not final. I like the back but those side intakes are too much. Don't like the wheels either. They didn't say what it will be powered by, but hard to imagine the V12 will still be around.

Wonder where these guys are getting their info? I would expect a more dramatic change from Lamborghini, this isn't Porsche where the car just has some updates for 20 years straight.

Looks like a restyled Gallardo to me on first impression. Mainly cuz of the side view.

I agree. Does look like the Gallardo from the side It's starting to look like a Fish instead of a Bull, but I still like it.

Someone suggested to me that that image is just a lame photoshop of what was already a photoshopped gallardo; sounds like someone pulled a fast one on these guys.

looking at it closer the back looks like a normal lp640 lights with a black strip across the bottom of the lights. The diffuser? looks like a ferrari f430, gallardo wing mirrors, Superleggera wheels, and i dont think ive seen the side intakes before haha so i think its just a photoshop. also by 2011 i hope lamborghini has moved on form the murcielago

Won't look anything like that. I think its just some random dudes idea what it might look like. These "photoshop" efforts are never close to the final product.

I can't even dream what the next/newer Lamborghini will be like. They are the first to do everything, and almost every other manufacture takes cues and details and puts them into their cars.
