Hello people,

I live in Vancouver, Canada and yesterday, while driving home from work I saw a Lamborghini Murcielago or so I think. I don't know much about them but I was suspicious and thought it might be a kit car or something.

Could you give me your learned opinions so that if I ever see it again I'll know if it's real or not?

it is the real thing, since you have the license plate number you can search it on the net or motor vehicle dept. to verify manufacturer. it will come back as a lamborghini. a kit car will come back as a 'gm product' or ???

What did the car sound like? It may be a replica made by a company called top gun productions. Top gun and a couple of other companies have started making exact visual replicas of the Lamborghini murcielago, both the coupe and the convertible versions. A couple words of warning. Most top class replica manufactures have replica VIN numbers and other verification numbers on the car just as the originals do.

You kidding? DMV doesnt run plates for anyone - that would be illegal for them to provide that type of informaton
