Default 1st post, dear all members

i would like to say thank you for all the interesting post and the wealth of knowledge that this site has given me.

As i am about to leave for the navy to serve for 5 years, i have been motivated to save my money, and invest in stocks and index funds in hopes that i can also become a lamborghini owner.

Dear Mr. Roy, i hope that within 5 years, i may come back and be able to come to you so that you can help me with my lamborghini purchase

Actually, the first NEW car I ever bought was right after I got out of the military. At that time it was a Porsche that I wanted. Had a poster on the wall to constantly remind me to save my money. About 6 months before getting out I placed a special order with the dealer because I did not want to buy one off the lot and was specific about color and options.

The car arrived about 3 weeks before my ETS (end of service) and I drove it cross country to go home. An experience I will never forget.

Hope you do the same - we'll still be here...

Andrew,

First off, let me be the first to Thank You for serving our great country and making it safer for all of us! Without freedom, none of us would have these amazing cars!

Also, always remember that you don't have to start off your Lamborghini ownership experience with the higher priced Diablo's, Murcielago's and Gallardo's. There are great deal's out there on the older Lambo's too!

I'm sure the guys who bought a Miura 10-15 years ago for under $100K are now laughing all the way to bank with their cars now worth $400K and over.

Espada's, Jarama's, Urraco's, Jalpa's, etc.. are all great deals. And yes, Roy is a great place to start! Like he says: "If he doesn't have it, he can get it!!"

Stay safe, and thanks again for your service!

Mike
