I'll remember that next time someone pulls a gun on me and tries to blow my brains out, or the next time someone chases me down an alley with a baseball bat (2 people did.) Oh yeah and I'll **** myself when the guy who spearheaded a failed murder attempt has me due in court for harrasment, after he Burglarized/Robbed/Mugged me for over (at cost)$100,000+ in Us Funds. Hm, I'll take Xanax the day I want to be shot in my sleep, Don't tell me to lay down and Die. Tell yourself, your kids...but not me.

0-60 is your benchmark? 1/4 mile? or the grin on the magazine writer's face? The Gallardo is an EXPERIENCE. You dont buy it to just drive fast or accelerate hard, there is more to it. You can bang the Gallardo full throttle, foot to the floor, never taking it off max throttle, shift through the e-gear in under 150ms resulting in neck jerking shifts, and doing this without any loss of traction. AWD and tight suspension will let you do just about anything you can dream of doing. At 150, 160, 170mph the car is hugging the road and handles even better than at 50mph.. Anyone can make a car with 800-1000hp+ today, but it would lack grace or style. Poor handling, unable to maintain traction, weight distribution, reliability, structural integrity, tracking problems at speed, etc, etc. Dollar for dollar, the vette is really a good buy. I have to agree with that statement I see a lot in the press ... but it will never give the same experience as a Gallardo. Usually the finest quality items cost substantially more than average. But it is this extra 30% of performance at three times the cost that makes the Gallardo amazing. |

The ride experience in a Gallardo is probably a fantastic experience :rolleyes, but I refuse to pay over 150k for a car that cannot outaccelerate a vette! The presteige of owning a lambo is amazing, but I am sure that I am not the only buyer that would not like sacrifice breakneck speed even if the car is a Lambo. Luckily, Lamborghini created the murcielago roadster, and the Diablo VT roadster for people like me, that love the thrill of truly heart stopping performance.

I was the first on the local list, I have my 2006 Z06 505HP Vette for about 6 weeks now. I can only say it was the fastest factory stock car I have driven. That said, when I went for my first ride in my brother's Ferrari Enzo.... I sh*t myself. Now what in the end does this all mean? It means I'll sell the Z06 for a few grand over sticker before they are 100 in my town, and enjoy the 79' LP400S that I just bought.
The new Z06 is that fast. |

could you please share some seat feeling about it? i know it is not a lambo, but there are so few men experienced some time in that car i'd really like to know what you think about it |

Z06 is a respectable sports car. It does what it has to do, the Gallardo is a diffretn animal... AWD is a major function, and it is a Lambo. Its exotic. Speaks for itself. Truthfully, both very nice cars!
