Default 02 murci or 01 diablo for me ?

ok so im not going to put money into my 92 instead i'm going to look around for a 6.0 or murci

prob a 2001 diablo or a 2002 murci as i'm on a budget (haha )

now i know the murci is the better buy because its new gen but it would also be the 1st model year and we all know about those

the diablo is old but is last year so it has all the bugs worked out

lastly in my opinion the last year diablo is just sooooooo pretty

comments ? especially from owner would be great !

also bottom of the market is $160k and $200k respectively agree ?

Get the Murc... Especially if you plan on using it often, newer body newe design newer technology... just my .02

But overall both are great choices, cant go wrong either way.

a good 01 will run close to 195k...about the same on the 02 Murcie....I like both...the 6.0 is a VERY sexy car and still has a lot of those Lambo lines...my only complaint on the Murcie is that it is very easy to drive harder than you would normally...meaning, it's super easy to drive !!!

Let Roy or I know which you want and we'll get you into the right car...Roy has both the Murcie and the 6.0...so he might be a good source for comparrison shopping.

I faced this very same dilemma very recently. I bought the 6.0. The reasons were: exculsivity, my perception that it is the last "true Lambo", and purely the looks. I am hoping, but it is mainly a guess, that the '01's will hold their value better as the sheer # of cars is just so low compared the the Murci's. Supply and demand.
Either way, you cant go wrong IMO. The Diablo is definitely more "raw" and less refined ( a good thing in my book) than the Murci. Although, the 6.0 is very easy to drive and very civilized in any condition.

Good luck.

Phil

No question the Diablo. Roy has a beautiful 6.0 in a deep purple on E-bay for a very reasonable price, if I hadn't firmed a deal on my Diablo Roadster, that would be the car to have.

I think the 6.0 is better because its rare and it will be a good investment in the long run.

Good luck

on the resale side i can make the argument for both cars

for the 6.0 yes its the last and best so it holds its own, jsut like the countachs do.
actually when i started looking on my $100 budget i figured it would only be a countach, its then i realised that a diablo could be had for little more, i was thrilled

for the 1st year murci, these are the murci cheap seats, the least expensive way to get into one so i think there will always be highish floor, just like the diablo which pretty much dont dip below $100k at retail for anything decent

anyone actually have FIRST HAND experience driving both the 6.0 and the murci for comparo puposes ? im going to a dealer in a couple of weeks and will test drive at least a murci, the 6.0 will be harder as they are not current production

i imagine they are both completely different to my 2wd no powersterring 92
