Default What does it take?

I'm just curious. I can't think of a better job than selling Lamborghinis and high end vehicles for a living. -- "Find what you love, and find a way to sell it."

How do you get into this? Where do you start? How hard is it to sell them? It almost seems like a Lamborghini sells itself and picks its drivers.

I've been asking this for 15 years. It always seemed as though you'd have to cut your teeth selling Chevrolets for years before anyone would give you a shot (no thanks). To me, they are two different things entirely. I would also say that when you love it, it is easy to sell. That's why so many people have such a hard time selling Chevys and Toyotas - because there is no love of the product. Maybe start small. Get a dealer's license. Start going to auctions and pick up off lease BMWs or something. Sell them higher. Work up and up until you can afford to specialize in Lambos. Not that it is easy, just my $0.02.

I know the market is small in Canada, I wouldn't stay here to sell what I love.

Secondly, this is just out of curiosity.

Thought about doing this myself when I slow down my business. Probably the biggest factor in success is that the customers like you and trust you. No easy way, just going to take time to develop that. Beautiful photograph there, just screams Italian style. --Dave--
