He had to either laugh or cry the way she was after him. She kept on bringing up his positions as a presidential candidate and contrasting them with Barack Obama's; very clear disagreements between Biden and Obama on policy issues. In addition he stated several things which just are not true, and furthermore TWICE recanted his statements to say he AGREED with what Palin had said. To state Palin had anything less than clear victory makes no sense to me and is only attributable to a politcal stance. Honest analysis of the debate puts Palin as a clear winner, especially after the first 10-15 minutes.

Roy and Murci:

The worst part about him laughing was when he was laughing at her about a Constitutional mistake when it was HE who was incorrect!

I didn't really take it that way. I thought he treated her with kid gloves and focused on McCain which was the right thing to do. He could have humiliated her easily if he really wanted to.

I noted his restraint, but I don't think he could have humiliated her even if he really wanted. However, I definitely agree that he was handcuffed, both because of facing her, and because of his previous positions.

LOL! Thats pretty funny. I saw something like that called the "Loop of Procrastination" or something like that, very clever and funny.

VWA2, what makes you prefer Obama, if I may ask?

The tax benefit for the middle class.

Secondly, I'm not a big fan of George W. Bush, and I think the war in Iraq isn't/wasn't properly managed. I'd like a change in government, even though I am not an American citizen! LOL

I also want you guys to check out this website.... this is a "debt clock" and its kind of interesting to read all the articles about this issue. The Bush Administration SUCKS!!!!
U.S. National Debt Clock

Thanks for the info, I have heard that a lot. One thing though, Obama wont reduce taxes on the middle class. What he WILL do is send a rebate check of $600-1$,000 (essentially well fare) to as he says 95% of taxpayers. This is a common misconception I see a lot of people believing in, which is a real shame.

Also historically, when taxes are raised on the rich, the true tax burden is transferred to the middle class, because the rich sequester and move their money, plus they can afford tax dr.'s to manipulate their money. This is a major reason why the middle class is evaporating from America.

You have a good point on the debt, it is simply out of control, and is one of the major failings of the Bush Administration. In his defense, I think he has saved the American people from knowing how bad the situation really is, if one can make that argument. The sad part is that neither one of the current candidates is going to do anything to reduce it (the debt). Obama wants a trillion dollars in new spending and McCain wants something like 300 billion lol. Some choice, right?

EDIT:

Just for discussion, what are some of the changes you would like to see? Anyone should feel free to give their input here.

In all honestly, you don't vote for the person you want to lead the country, you vote against the person you don't want to win. ... if that makes sense.

LOL I love the flow chart.

The middle class in America doesn't pay taxes so all this fuss over lowering them for 95% of the population is way overstated.

If you hurt the wealthy by increasing taxes you hurt the jobs machine which will eventually hurt the middle class. Income redistribution has never worked to the benefit of the middle class, and it's socialistic anyway. Tax breaks for business (The wealthy) are what keeps commerce alive and well and the middle class employed. This is very basic stuff.
