Default Replicas that are not Lambo wanna be cars?

I have a neighbor that has been looking at a new toy. It is a Gagliardi Design. This Itialian gentleman out of California builds this high performance car called the 'Vendetta' yes it looks similar to a Lamborghini but not really and is clearly identified as its own brand/model.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

At least its not a copy or trying to be something its not. Actually my neighbor seen it @ Knotts Berry Farms Lamborghini show. He was in Cali on business and this show was going on - so being a car lover he checked it out. He showed me the site and I have been thinking about adding to my collection. As I do nto believe an authentic Lambo should be added to - well break paint anyway. Wheels & stereos are OK. But adding wings, scoops, etc. No way. This may be a chance to change some things without a care about values and the like.

Go to http:// gagliardidesign.com to check it out....

Are you serious?? It is a murci Roadster with very slight changes. It still takes the main design ideas from Lamborghini!

I'm so sorry and I apologize in advance, but I HAVE to do this otherwise it will eat at me all night.

Great plug for the site. I guess I should go to the Bentley forum and tell those people what a great alternative the Chrysler 300C is to the Arnage.

Moderators, if I'm wrong, please contact me. I just couldn't resist. I'll humbly take whatever punishment is due me.

Lambo wannabe, if you want something cool and not a scribble scrabble copy of a car some guy saw on a poster once, check this out.GTM Supercar

I had considered building one, but after I found turbo kits for LS7's and Sequential gearboxes that would work with this thing, I knew it would just go overboard like my current 70,000.00 non running Nissan project (wish we had a suicide smiley after saying that)

OR

You could check out one of these: K-1 ENGINEERING - O firme

Either one of those cars is cool, and NOT a replica.

Thats just god-smackingly ugly.
The only thing I find somewhat appealing are the headlights, the rest reminds me of cheap ricer-tuning.

Wow gentlemen. I own a Lambo and looking happened to find something stylish yet not sporting Lambo tags everywhere. I am only giving this guy props for putting at least his damn name on it. So yes being in the automotive industry - I have a news flash for all of you (as if you don't know already). Any Toyota you see rips off a German or American automobile car company design. I will not list them here but just remember BMW when you see a few of their models. Kia don't make me go there.

Besides that thing would be fun to add stuff to, most of all let my son drive and if he ditched the thing I'm not out $327k. And my wife won't tellme told you so. Because he does drive the car when she is out of town on business.

So please be professional gentlemen _ I put the thread up not a prop or whatever you called it...Rather to spark conversation.

Good day all,
Viger

Im suprised that any owner would think that way. I mean the car is just a blatend copy of the murcie with some amature design changes. Nothing really fits together. Those vents alone ruin the whole car, polished metal just doesnt go with bright colors- I dont have to be a designer or in the car industry to notice that. And no part on the car looks like quality-nothing at all. From the bumpers to the interior, everything screams: Cheap

Yes sir (DaLamboMan) and my son screams hit the x-way as fast as I can and if he works hard as a teenager and drives that knowing his father has a real car (for prom) for all the mockers. He is working for his mother since 13 and has saved a substancial amount of money. So if I buy it and make him a loan.....tell me you wouldn't drive that when we were in high school. If you say no then I know we are not being fair here. You and I have worked hard and gone through college already. Its all about making a better life for our kids than we had. I drove a Mustang through high school and in college a older Corvette. I had to work and buy everything I have - nothing handed to me. So he will do the same. And he can jazz it up. I agree about the aluminum does not go with the yellow but keep in mind teenager here fellas. Not a grown adult who is trying to be something he is not. A teenager that has worked hard but let's face it can't afford a real LP640 or evn a used Gallardo with a million miles here. Just a thought not trying to start arguments here. I just want all to keep teenager in mind...

I agree with everything you said, but that doesnt change the fact that the car is crap.
Im not sure what the whole Vandetta will cost, but if the exterior kit is almost 10k already im guessing its going to be around 20k finished. For that price why not get him a nice A3 with some professional tuning/bodykit, he can have all the bling he wants, with a car underneath that will actually work. Or a 350Z or RX8?
Not overpowered but probably enough to still get all the girls at his school.
Also think about resale, your going to have one hell of a hard time getting rid of that thing.
