Hey everyone,
These are pics of a clients pearl white 335i that I was lucky to detail last year. He purchased it a couple of months before bringing it into me for a one step polish. The car was in great condition but not perfect due to quite a bit of rail dust and swirl marks here and there. Nothing a good clay and polish wouldn't heal up. Hey,
Sorry I have not posted in a while. Things have been a little hectic the past week. Anyways so the past couple of days I spent my time at the Porsche dealership on a trade in that was in horrendous condition. It was my first detail at that dealership and the people there were great. Although it was disappointing that someone would treat a car, any car the way the previous owner treated this beauty. During the inspection stage the roof and rear hatch had particularly low paint reading and was hit with the PC DA with a much less aggresive combination. Please excuse some of the untouched wheel wells. The car was washed and sat in the bay. I did a quick ONR on the paintwork and went at it. Whoops one last thing. I was only to address the paintwork at the request of the client. Anyways enough of my babbling. Audi B8 S4 White
This detail came about when a vehicle enthusiast inquired about a new car prep for his new car. He decided to hold off on the detail until it was closer to winter time. He opted for the exquisite package. In regards to the paint condition it wasn’t that bad considering he had just taken the S4 on a very long road trip. The paint showed no signs of protection. There were swirling presumably detail installed on the paint that I had a hard time capturing however it wasn’t hard to remove. The paint also had hard water marks and etching from bird poop. Alright lets move on to the products and pictures. I started with PF on a blue finishing pad then worked to PO85rd then had to drop it down to ultrafine on the blue finishing pad. Even that was slightly marring the trim. I had to finish up with a hand polish using ultrafina and a foam applicator pad. |
