Eddie Izzard is so out of his mind. My guitar gently weeps is originally by the beetles.
If you like really crazy guitar, check out some old videos of Jason Becker, also check out Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteem, and you'll find some other wacko's out there as well.

OK then, I looked a little into guitar playing on YouTube and there are some amazing players there. So here are a few of my favorites from completely different genres:
Katsu Ohta (Japan), who appears to be a clone of Yngwie Malmsteen (Sweden). If that isn’t breathtakingly intense, I don’t know what is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgdnHd4VEVo Doug Seven. Normally I am not much into Country & Western, but in addition to having impressive skills and tone, I find this very worthwhile listening to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW6tRuoVSew Kiddie Band (Japan). Is this cute or what? They are quite good as well especially the drummer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cGT-aBvkfc |
