I dont know how the rates are in America but the most you'll get out of a savings accounts here with certain restrictions are 3-4%. You wont make any money this way. Invest it, can't tell in what exactly since I dont know the american market very well but get yourself informed and make a choice from there.

All good advice from what seems like predominantly self-made men/women on the board. Unfortunately, I know the type...my 19 yo nephew has the same mindset (except the sueing part). Every single dollar he has goes into a $2,000 truck, rather than invested. Its not so much pouring money into a depreciation asset that bothers me, but EVERY DOLLAR he has goes to the truck. Last week - it was totaled while he was stopped at a light. Total cost in: $12k. Recovered from insurance company: $2k. Thats a big setback for a guying making minimum wage. I have offered numerous times to help - even to buy him stock if he does the work - to understand how a company functions and to begin to think like an investor/business/something beyond an hourly rate. Not that punching a timeclock is not an honorable way to make a living, but its a pretty tough way to create wealth. My point? We learn the best lessons in life sometimes by making mistakes and suffering the consequences. One can only hope that yz426ex is able to recover from a series of mistakes that no one will be able to talk him out of making....despite the best (and painstaking) efforts by the people on this board...which considering its about Lambos, was pretty nice, in my opinion...
