A friend of mine (from Belgium) has once to push a bit hard a guy in LA to stop him harassing a young kid who was obviously not enjying the company. The guy fell on the ground. This idiot sued him straight away.."my back hurts..I have headaches, I have nightmares, blablabla, snirff"...this non sense has been going one for 6 years now..ridiculous ! And guess what ? I just joined a Dive MAster course here in Asia, and the first thing the instructor told the class was "as much as possible, avoid instructing americans, and no matter what, never have them taking any possible potential risk, even if they say they know more and they know better..."...because that's a very good way to loose all you have in a court, even if they just scratch their leg...". I guess that's a bit exagerated, but well..that's how people judge US now because the system has gone too far..

I seriously thought you were joking the way your first post was written up! I know an exotic car might be on your list of priority's right now, but you are making a horrible decision. I feel like the older fellow that always told the kids to not smoke (they all did), not have sex without a condom (hello welfare) or to not do drugs (very few successful pot heads in comparison). All I can expect is a "yeah whatever". But here goes anyways -

Take it from me son, get your money and pay off your debts. Work on your credit, invest in a home, even a trailer! Move out on your own and pursue your career in Pro Quad racing. Forget about a Lambo and buy yourself a truck to get that Quad to the track every single day so you can get better and better! Use any financial help (like this settlement) along the way as a stepping stone to get even better than anybody else at whatever it is you decide to do with your life. Then come back here and thank me!

Why else would you want the car? Nobody needs a lambo. But you have an excelant advantage to progress yourself. INVEST IN YOURSELF and you can buy 3 lambos. Or just buy this one and you'll be the broke guy who drives a lambo on his way to work at McDonalds. That is until you get your first repair bill. You'll sell it within 3 months and you'll take a huge loss just to get rid of the thing and then were will you be?

Besides hookers, alcohol and drugs, I cannot imagine a a worse thing to waste your money on right now.

Keep in mind. The wealthy men and women on this board did not get were they are by being foolish when opportunities have presented themselves.

I agree with what most other on here are saying. If you infact do get that lump sum of 300K. Dont blow most of it on a Lambo. Pay off your house and other bills and invest the rest. Make that money earn you more money, then you'll be able to buy more than just a Lambo. Buy a 30K Mitsubishi Evo or something for the time being, and get somethig better down the road. Youll most likely regret it if you blow half of that money on a car right away without doing something more with it.

Just to play devils advocate for one second and entertain this wastefull use of an investment/educational opportunity (should it actually work out as planned.....) What scope is there for hiring a Lambo out in Wisconsin, weddings maybe, or pimping yourself out for executive airport pickups etc to help the car earn its keep a little......?
