Default How to find wholesale pricing.. and buy at that price?

I have read for years here what people say certain prices for cars are going for at wholesale.

How do I find out what they are, and more importantly, how do you buy at that price?
Or find fire sales or distressed buyers? Repos?

I hate paying retail for anything, and am loving the RE market right now!

But there are a few cars that I and some family members would like wholesale prices on.

They are:

'99 Diablo Roadster (for myself)
'95 928 GTS 5 speed (myself) only imported 11 though :-(
'06-'07 SL 55 in black fully loaded, low miles (girlfriend) I know, but she loves them!
'07-'08 Escalade ESV fully loaded, low miles (gf's mom)

Any help?

Thanks!

OK I'll answer this dreamers question. Those are all used cars and therefore have used car pricing which are all over the board especially in this market. "Retail and wholesale" are not relevant. Look at E-Bay, cars.com, autotrader.com....to name a few, and do some comparing, there's no single place or answer to your question.

Dreamer... hmm, I wont bother to reply to that comment.

However I have searched those sites and youre exactly right, prices are all over the place.
I am trying to determine why what seem to be the same car, same miles, etc can be $30k different.

There has to be some baseline that dealers go by, correct? Im sure their lenders sure have some values they place on them!

They must track sales or current values or auction pricing somehow just like in the RE market.

I have found a few SL 55's for mid 50k's. But is that considered wholesale, or how much room is there to further reduce the pricing.

Wanting as much info on the financial pricing of a product is prudent and just good business to maximize my purchase.

Same thing I do and have done in the RE market, which I am loving. Best time since 1990 to buy.
Im a numbers guy and that info influences my offer.

Anyone have those values or know where to get them?

It has been a ONE OWNER car its whole life...the second Lambo for the owner...his first was a 89 Countach that he put over 80K miles on it..

Daily driver yes, but maintained to the hilt...just had full service, new tires etc etc..

Next thing needed...probably a clutch...last one was at approx 43000 miles..

Sounds like we have a RE agent / cheerleader here. If you're not, stop catching falling knives. Like the choice on the 928GTS, though. You want to know how you can reduce pricing on the cars you want? WAIT A WHILE. They're just used cars.

Not to toot my own horn. I export high-end vehicles to Dubai on a daily basis. Depending on how serious you are. I can hook it up with cars with as low as 200 hundred miles on them. I have from Corvettes to Rolls Royces. You can always PM me.
