Well, I guess I started off on the wrong foot here so my apologies guys. The basic business model is a secure, high end storage for exotic cars. Owners can store their car and come pick them up when they want to drive them. When they are done, they can drop the car off and it will be detailed, stored, or if needed be shipped to dealers for maintenance. However, much more than just storage will be offered. A large variety of amenities that cater to the enthusiast will be available including pick up, delivery to local locations, clubhouse, and auto detailing. The storage areas will be high tech, climate controlled, and designed to utilize form and function. The business will cater to clients who are located locally or to those who wish to have an exotic car in the area for when they visit. 12097, your help would be greatly appreciated as well. Your input will be invaluable and I plan on contacting you in the near future to pick your brain, lol. Take care and thanks for reading this guys. Any other input is appreciated.

Just a example. There are alot of collector car facility businesses in operation. Unless you have a specific market idea that you're targeting, this has been done and deemed successful. Keep the entrepeneural spirit going. |

From my chair here, 12000Km from home, and 12724 from my Tahiti, I think this is a good idea. I'm one of the guys who do not own a business, have no idea how to set up one, and not interested to anyway. I make money working abroad, most of the time where others don't want to go, and where everything is provided by the company. That's why I don't have a home to call my own yet, and why such a service would be very helpful, provided you don't think Exotic owners have way to much money not to bother being ripped off (meaning most of us can afford such cars exactly because of the opposite : a dollar is a dollar...don't be tight, but waste not !). This is a service lots of dealers offer in Europe to Expats (provided you bought the car from them, and have it maintain by them...of course...), but they are way too over-priced to be taken seriously.
In fact that is how I organized the safety and "well being" of my car in Switzerland, as well as my peace of mind. The car is safe, well looked after, and even checked and tuned by my mechanic when I say I'll be coming over for a ride. However, as the others said, at least 60% of the pleasure and proud of owning an Exotic is just to have a look in your own garage and make sure yours is still the most beautiful you've ever seen in the whole world, whatever they say . A pleasure I don't have, but the day will come.I'm not sure that would be a very good business though as you may not have many customers like me... My 2 cents... Good luck ![]() |

Thanks for the feedback guys, and yes we have taken alot of that into consideration. The market we are going for is a very focused group and we have already included that into our research. I definitely do understand that most people like to tinker or work on their vehicles, and that is totally understandable. I know I love to work on my baby and keep her close by to admire.
![]() Ho fi, thank you for that link too. That BMC club is very close to our business model that we have come up with. Same types of services, etc. We also feel that fellow enthusiasts for exotic cars would like to have a meeting place to show off their vehicles or meet up before track days. The location would be a central location in the area. Please keep up the criticisms and suggestions, they are very helpful. ![]() |
