whats gold going for these days?? last i heard it was through the roof..

its a like 829.74 a bar of gold. it jump like 18 in a day or so.

I see all these commercials on TV about investing in gold, you know what that means don't you? Look out below! That's the only commodity that hasn't busted, speculation is at a fever pitch.

BTW this is spam, but maybe it'll lead to something constructive.

it remains a steady hedge in this market. even though lately there can be 20 dollar dips, it will skyrocket eventually.

And that spells disaster for the world so how is that good?

gold is one of those commodities that will never go away. its not renewable, there is no way to make it in a lab, and its not like oil where they are trying to find alternatives. everything uses gold these days from jewelry, to cables, to the shields on the space shuttle.

Yes you can say that about most all metals. I'm not against holding some gold, I just wouldn't load up on it with the mentality that when world currencies go to hell gold will still have value, for if that happens who cares about even gold.

Unfortunately most all investments are now as speculative as gold. That's scary.

I will sell mine when it hits 1K or better.

Didn't they say that about diamonds (not talking about CZs)!
