Default Whats the CHEAPEST vehicle you've ever owned?

Its pretty clear that we all like expensive cars here, but whats the cheapest vehicle you ever bought?

For me its a Gilera scooter for about €1,500 that I still own.

Hmmm. Can't say I had a humble start with cars. My Dad bought me two nice ones in high school, and I took it from there.

My first car was an 1985 Chevy Chevette. Rusty, smelly, small and crappy. I blew the head gasket and threw it in the garbage.

Around 1978 I think I paid $500 for a 1974 honda civic with a blown exhaust system. Major upgrade was a $100 Dixie Land Air Horn System. Was hot ****

Between that and an X1/9 that I purchased later on I learned a bunch about fixing cars

A few years ago, I bought a 1990 Mazda B2200 pickup with 145K miles for $500. Not rusty, and it ran great! Sold it later when I was offered $900.
