My thoughts? It's a fast track car.

In North America is availble with GMs 4cyl ECOTEC engine, and everyone else gets the Honda Type R 4 cyl engine in theirs. Optional forced induction on both engines I believe.

Good luck getting your hands on one.

They offer an array of power plant configs that you can now order both in the U.S. and outside the U.S.

Honda VTEC 2.0 Liter 300hp 163ft-lbs Supercharged

GM ECOTEC 2.0 Liter 205hp 200 ft-lbs Supercharged

GM ECOTEC 2.0 Liter 230hp 205ft-lbs Supercharged

GM ECOTEC 2.0 Liter 245hp 215 ft-lbs Supercharged

GM ECOTEC 2.0 Liter 300hp 250 ft-lbs Supercharged

And if you're big into DIY, you can have it sent to you in boxes and assemble the car yourself. They're not to hard to get now, being Brammo Motorsports in the U.S. has bought Ariel and now is mass producing all the parts for the car.

From what I've read I've been impressed, but last month there was one on the track with us, and I was less than impressed. Of course a lot of that could have come down to driver, but the straight line speed wasn't very much and the cornering looked slow. After looking at it in person and knowing that the US distributor is asking $70K with the Ecotec, I was disappointed.

I think a lot does come down to the driver with this car, it is definetly a drivers car.

and starting price for the base config with a the stock Saturn ION Redline/Chevy Colbalt SS power plant (Base ECOTEC) is $45,665.00 U.S.

After adding all the options and the most expensive power plant (Honda K20R) its $96,060.00 U.S.

Emery I assume you are talking about the Tesla? I like the Fetish more.

ZAP is coming out with an absolutely insane, Lotus-desiged, all electric, 600 odd horsepower, 4-wheel drive SUV that I cannot wait to get my hands on.

Were you at Sebring with Chin? There was an Atom there that spent more time in the pits than on the track and got towed in I think at least five times when it just died for no reason; and it was new.

I'm sticking with my Radical; for the same money the Radical is rock solid and better performing.

Yes, I go to almost all the Chin events in florida. I just got back from sebring last night- I would be there today still if one of the bolts on my transmission case didn't shear off. I drive the Zotz Racing 914-6/GT yellow, #82. There were a lot of Radicals there this weekend- at least 7 or 8. I'm doing some upgrades to my GT3 this summer, but after that I may give up Vintage Racing and the 914. Maybe a Radical after that for me, since I do have a two car trailer. The Atom was there yesterday and it looked like it was going better than last month.

Just missed you then; I got there Saturday afternoon and drove the Radical all day Sunday, it was a beautiful day no rain at all until 6 PM Sunday. I got a ride with one of the instructors in his GT3, awesome car.
