How about the Countach? 1974-1990.

Very funny.... and I think there are more than a few of us that agree!

i don't have a problem with Audi owning Lambo. i agree that they brought a lot of good to their shop. but it's when they start building cars that compete, i question that decision. and besides, i bought my lambo _before_ they started making decisions to build Audis that compete. i still love my car and will continue to enjoy it. but i guess my point is that i don't think these actions do much to enhance the Lamborghini brand. I'm not dissing Audi's. i like their cars and respect what they do. just not sure about some of their marketing decisions.

I love the Countach. As a kid I had the Alphine posters on my bedroom wall next to Farrah. Another over the edge car regarding design that has lasted the test of time. More radical then style.

Missed that one (and probably a few others) - Thanks Mick

Remember, back then we didn't have the selection of cars to pick from as we do today, exotics or daily rides. It wasn't too long ago that Mercedes Benz produced only three styles. How many today: S, C, SL, M, G, E, CL, SLR... Not to mention Audi (2) Jaguar (2) The list goes on.

that car is more similar to an audi TT than G car in my opinion

i doubt they will make it...remember the VW V12:
it had to be produced but it only lives in playstations
they know the importance of the brand in the super car market
they will use other brand for sport car

they also want to produce the ultimate supercar, but they will use bugatti brand....
it is ok because there is no more bugatti, it is only a badge
...for lambo it is all other matter

The VW Groups ownership of Lambo is the best thing that could have happened. What was the alternative? Many of you haven't personally been through the Chrysler days, the Singapore days........and so on. They are now selling cars!! Hey, there's a novelty for Lambo. And the cars perform at the top rung of the ladder, and look very good. The 80's and 90's are dead. If you want to sell new cars TODAY, you have to give the people (buyers) what they want TODAY. Get with the times, or go to the grave. Can't live in the past. With that said, the Diablo is the greatest car ever assembled. But keep in mind, Chrysler had a large part of that. Sad but true. I always say, The Diablo is Chryslers best moment.
