Default Off Topic: Bentley Forum – Anyone know of a good one?

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good Bentley Forum. I am and will always be a Lamborghini lover, but I have some questions for Bentley owners that I would like asked, and also some stories to share with them.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Tim

There aren't too many "good" ones. but here's a few leads..

try here:

http://www.rrbew.co.uk/Message.htm

You'll have to join to see anything and they prefer you real name.

and here they want your name too but you CAN read it:

http://www.bdcl.org/forum/index.php?...0ffc5b7bd41d59

I know there's also an Australian Bentley forum but haven't been able to find it lately.

If you're willing to pay, you could also join the RROCas they also have a forum.

Most other forums are subforums of forums like autoforums.com where you have to wade through the ricers and teenagers to find out there is no actual information. Or like MBworld and Benzworld, more kids and flames then info.
Hope this helps.

Thank you again for your help!

I wanted to post the website on a Bentley form and get some feedback from Bentley owners; it’s a website about a couple of Bentleys that just won't work. They were purchased new and have had countless problems.

It may be of interest to the Lamborghini owners out there (I’m sure a couple of you guys have a Bentley in your garage as well). You can compare your reliability to that of the Bentleys.

I am new to this site but frequent a few others mostly Ferrari-centered since I have a 360. Very nice and colorful site. Very nice graphics.

I see a few folks here from Danville.

I live in Danville, N. Calif and my business is in San Ramon. I am in the audio/home theater business and also sell specialty auto parts such as floor mats for all exotics.

However, as to a Bentley site, I did find this one that's new and looks interesting.

As it turns out I am thinking of getting an ~2005 Bentley GT as my day car. I have a '05G for fun but I simply don't like day to day driving around town in it.
My question to any Bently owners out there is how reliable are these GT's. Is it a hassel getting parts/repairs. Always scared of getting a British car. I guess it goes back to the Jaguar days.

I have in earlier days owned many MG's, a new Jaguar in 76 that was an absolute nightmare, and no British cars since then. They scare me.

I also have an interest in Bentley, but I hear the 05's were plagued with a few probs of front suspension and minor electrical issues. So, I think I'd stay away from an 05.

I did a search and found a bit of fascinating Bentley recall and problem areas, but those are on my home portable which I will tonight post.

Monahan_Z you should bring that Gallardo by some time so I can see it. I can make beautiful floor mats for it!

Thanks GCalo, looking forward to seeing the info. What you say leads me to suspect that things have not changed with british cars!
