Default Not a LAMBO, but should be fun anyways!

Just picked this up, 1937 FORD S-1 motor...both soft and hard top..

Going to tool around and think of my Hot Rod high school days LOL

S-1 motor, as in Saleen S-1? Does this puppy have an adjustable air ride suspension, or is it easy to scrape the crap out of the nose? Beautiful car. What will be the price?

Oh, and is it a Boyd, or a Foose? Another builder?

S-1 as in Corvett motor, Yes air adjust suspension...open to offers..it is inbound as we speak...LOL

Roy, do you mean LS1 motor? It actually looks more like an L-98.

I knew it wasn't a Mustang motor with a supercharger! No wonder I was confused What's the difference between an L-98 and an LS1 that you could tell by this pic?

L-98 had the tuned port injection with those long intake runners. Started with the 85 Vette. (I owned one and loved that car) As seen here:

The next version, the LT-1 went for the mini ram type design and did away with the long, tall intake runners. As seen here:

The ls1 has a completely different manifold as seen here:

With each progressive version one of the main differences was the intake manifold with every new version improving HP and torque.
