Performance gets a 10! Overall looks get a 5 and that is where the excitement ends for me. If I just wanted to go fast I would save some money and buy a Supra with 800 ponies.

Saw one here in Council Bluffs, IA, with the local dealer plate affixed, about 3 weeks ago. White. MUCH better looking in person than any pic I've seen. Took a pic of it on my wife's phone outside OfficeMax(?) and we exited the store the same time as the driver did. . . a 16 or 17 year old GIRL and her MOM (!!!???). The seat was practically up to the steering wheel.

Great car, I am sure it is alot of fun on the track... but IMO it screams "I am a 16 year old highschool student with rich parents". Anyone else get that feeling?

I predicted it would on my Nissan board to rave reviews, I mean death threats.

I do enjoy listening to the fanbois try to defend the magic exploding transmission. My tranny is going on 25 years old and still hummin and the car doesn't tell on my either. Damned gizmo R

It's not that it's a Nissan, Nissan builds some awesome cars. The problem is the whizbang gadgets don't last under hard use. I have seen a few "my e gear is messing up" threads here too. I suspect Lamborghini treats its customers better though when things break.
If this car was badged as an Infiniti and called a different name it wouldn't piss me off. If the car was marketed as a sport touring car like Mercedes coupe it would hit the mark IMO. This is not what a GT-R should be. This is.

I have walked through this tunnel and I was deafened by one of the Midnight Club ripping along in a GT-R. The bastard punched it as soon as he saw me. A set of wastegates at full roar in the confines of a tunnel easily pegs a DB meter.

Haha My mom does that too... But I would rather she do that than have the seat all the way back....

Cough cough "Elbows up, side to side..." Cough cough...

I think as far as looks go, it doesnt look like anything special. But as far as the performance, it reminds me of a Z06 all the way. If it were in the $50k or less price range, with less power to justify a low price, then I think I would like it more.
