Exactly. That's how I view it. At best, it will be one of the funniest daily beaters I've ever owned. It even has a couple of seats in the back for the kids. When you look at it from that perspective, there's not much to dislike about it.

Too 350Zish for my tastes. The interior is very stylish though.

In 1997 Autocar sent two of its best drivers to test out a production Nissan GTR to try to match the sub 8 minute record. Two of their best drivers included two-times Le Mans winner Robert Nearn, and Steve Sutcliffe. Their best time was 8:28.1.

Hmmm. The only thing they seem to be questioning is what kind of tires the car had on it. I don't even consider that to be a mod.

Very cool. The dealer (a personal friend) who I ordered my car from is attending an event next week in Vegas that is just for Nissan dealers. Apparently, they have some cars there that they are going to let the dealers take out on a track. Sounds like a blast.

He also said that he will be getting one of the first, if not the first, cars from this first large delivery that is apparently on its way, and due in mid-July. That's his personal car though; I am third on the list so I probably won't get mine until September.

Ok. Now I am posting replies to myself. Pretty pathetic. I don't understand why there isn't more participation in Lamborghini Talk.

Observation of my new GTR: FREAKING AMAZING! But...not a Lamborghini.
