I own a 2003 CL55 AMG Kleemann stg.2

Car is awesome, real comfortable and plush, and has rediculous power.

Have plenty of friends with SL55's and have driven them, not a comfortable car for everyday driving, but if your in need of a convertible than i say go for the SL55, the V12's have lots of issues and constantly give headaches, not something you want for a daily driver.

I say get a CL, best all around car. Especially with the weather you get by you.

I own a 04 SL600 and I can tell you it is an incredible car with both grace. power, and beauty. Its has all the power you will ever need and is ultra reliable. The V12 is a thing of beauty. The car feels like it has a turbine engine. Beautiful leather with hand stiching and quality all around surround you. I have 2 Lamborghini's, Diablo and Countach. They are completely different cars and cannot be compared to the MB. If I had to have only one car to drive every day it would be the Sl600 and I would be a happy man. BTW, Renntech will tell you that MB underestimates the HP on the SL600 so as not to compete with the SL55AMG. According to Renntech whenever they dyno a 600 it shows about 525HP. The torque on this car is unbelievable.

Im willing to spare some time and give you another run, perhaps this time you can keep up within 10 car lengths.

Serp.... If you love the convertible, get the SL. ?If your looking for comfort go for the CL. But stay away from the V-12's. Lots of issues. Go for the 55's.

Yellow... Slow it down cowboy... Call me when you get some practice... We'll set a date then.

Well that is good, but 5K is really not alot of miles.

For an everyday driver you would put that on in about 3 months. Best case scenario.

Several friends own the V12's including a friend with a CL65. His car never leaves the shop, unfortunatley.

Dont get me wrong, not all of them are deemed for problems, but they are more common amongst the V12's than the V8's.
