Ok, both of you are right. In fact, I think you are both on the money. We still dont know what this original poster wants to do, though ... Does he want to drive fast and accelerate like a bullet coming out of a gun or does he just want to drive in a very, very nice car.
If you want an exclusive car with prestige and road presence, the Bentley is a fantastic choice. It is better than the MBZ and Aston. You will not get mobbed like a Ferrari/Lamborghini which in my opinion is a good thing. I think you can put a 100,000 miles on a Bentley and enjoy every minute. I have never seen a Ferrari or Lambo with 100k miles (i am sure a 15 year old one exists somewhere), but I have seen six year old Bentleys with 100k miles. The Continental GT is an excellent choice, but if you want a more stately appearance, the new Flying Spur has the four doors and reeks luxury in front AND back seats. I dont know what work you do but if you ever take a client or two out, it is the perfect car. If you have a wife and kids, it is something to consider as well. The only drawback is it is a longer, so if parking spaces are tight, the GT will squeeze in better. |

I would keep the GT - stuff my wife in the trunk - kids will do fine in the back seat = problem solved!

The three cars you chose are all fantastic driving cars. I have had the pleasure of driving all three of these cars (not a superamerica but a 575) and I can say without thought that the Vanquish would be the way to go, but they all have one serious problem, at least in my eyes, and that is that they are all out of date. None are really all that new. Yes, the superamerica is the newest 575 and the 65 is the newest sl, but these three body styles have been around for sometime and I believe that at the least the ferrari and the sl will be changing soon. The cars I would be looking at if I were you would be the DB9 Volante in white over a sandstorm interior or the 612 scaglietti in white over a red interior. Those are cars that will make a statement and not only that, but they will make a unique one.
