Default Buying a SUV

Just thought I'd throw this question here considering we are car guys.

I am looking to get a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. I have one in my sights but I was wondering what you guys thought of the recent build quality from Nissan. I know they are generally good but has anyone heard anything negative lately?

The one I am looking at is a plain jane SE
just under 17k miles
4x4 of course
Dark blue with black granite cloth interior. I like cloth better because I feel more secure in my seat. I feel like I move around too much in leather. (is that just me?)
No navi just a basic stereo which I plan to upgrade eventually to a really nice setup.
Asking 23500

Thanks guys

I personally think they are great. I have a Nissan 350Z and I just bought the Titan Crew Cab. Maybe I am bias but I don't think you can go wrong.

Going to try this one more time. This will be my most condensed version of this post yet. . .

You'll be happy with the Pathfinder. The only Nissans with real issues are the Armada, and some of the Altimas. We have an '06 XTerra, manual trans, and LOVE it. If you want cloth anyway, have you considered the X? Cheaper, same dash, same engine, beefier looking. Both are winners, IMO.

Thanks guys

I have looked at the x's however I prefer the the size of the path. Also I feel that the x is a little bouncy. I close friend of mine just rolled his and that made me a bit worried.

All in all looks like this is going to happen this week. I'll be sure to post some pics when I can.

This is my first newish car so I'm pretty psyched.

Bouncy? Might it have been an Off Road package? Stiffer shocks and a steeper price kept us away from that package. Can't wait to see it, I love Blue!
