Default Baby Bugatti?

I was just reading around the net and discovered some news of a "baby" Bugatti that is apparently headed for 2008 production. I for one cannot wait to see/hear more about this thing and also to get my hands on one. I've seen rumored prices from low 60's up to the 120k range, so its fairly easily attainable (especially at 60k!!).

Anyhow, I was wondering what you all thought about such a car. I think we should all keep our eyes and ears open for more news, along with Lamborghini, Bugatti is one of my favorite car companies.

Automobile Magazine has a blurb on it this month. Supposed to compete with the Lotus Elise. 4-cylinder 2 liter turbo putting out around 280hp base with 320 in top of the line models. Target weight of under 2500 pounds. And they say all this can be yours for 60k. Don't know about you but sounds like lotus will have to come up with something else if this comes to market!

yeah definately!!

my younger brother is probably getting an exige later this year, and ive driven the elise, thing is amazingly quick.

However, i think this particular car will likely take away more -porsche caymen and boxster/audi tt/ bmw z4 and m versions- buyers than lotus exige/elise buyers, different philosophy IMHO and type of car. Either way, it should be very, very quick, and very fun, cant wait to get my hands on one ahahaha.

I read 1100kg for weight, and with around 300 horses, it should have plenty of GO.

However, knowing as many lotus owners as i do, i can definately see them cross-shopping with something like the bug.

Looks like ill have to be taking a trip to greenwich soon... ahAHaha
