Default All New Ferrari’s will be Fitted with Carbon Ceramic Brakes

See this article:-

Seems like they are trying to get one up on Lamborghini. Does anybody know where Lamborghini stands on these as standard brakes. If anybody has ever taked the rotars off you will realize how heavy they are.

I wonder how much the MSRP will go up if they are standard equipment on the cars. Hopefully, not the mega bucks they get for that option right now.

Making them standard might reduce their economies of scope. Therefore, since they could spread out the cost over more cars, and get a better purchase price deal buying in bulk, they could conceivably raise the MSRP less than the option would cost. Making them standard on Ferrari's will also help the manufacturers of the brakes spread out their development costs over a higher number of units, thereby reducing the cost of them for everyone.

It's basicly what price Lamborghini sets the price at. The final price is up to the dealership in most cases. If a car isn't selling to well, it will most likely sell under the MSRP. In other cases, if the car is hard to get(in high demand) prices are usualy over MSRP.
