Just wanted to see what people think about this!
I like your idea and voted for it. Is this being done on other boards with success?

The newsletter is a great idea, if we can keep it filled with enough content to make it worthwhile reading. We were working on plans to develop one when other site issues popped up ,which put the newsletter on the back burner for the time being.

One problem that the newsletter will always face is trying to have content that's not already posted on the site. The question always becomes, should we rehash old news from the site or hold back news from the site for the newsletter? Another issue is finding Newletter Contributors, because one person probably can't write an entire worthy newsletter by themselves. I'm a Mechanic, and even though my writing skills have improved over the years, I'm certianly not a jounalist or a prolific writer. So keeping it full and intersting at the same time becomes an issue we have to consider.

Another idea I want to see going foward is Member of the Month, where we Spotlight a member, his Lamborghini and his story of ownership. Owning a Lamborghini and the story behind the aquasition and ownership is an interesting subject imo. We have some REAL Lamborghini Lovers here and many of the bits and pieces they share are fantastic ( like SI's Coloum Switch Repair) and would make great reading and insperation to others in a Spotlight Story imo.

But the first oerder of the day is Site Security and the Repairs to damaged sections.

we should defenatly not keep anything back..

and there should be a section on the site for contributions... e.g. experiance, major issues, some of the sticky threads conclutions... stuff like that...
a sellers corner. a section for members cars.... and mods

finally this site is full of advertisers... im sure they would love to contribute.

thats just my view...

oh and im sure u guys have ur hands full with the site right now

and its good to have this discution.... see who is up for chiping in

ive seen it benefit some other boards... soo hope it works here

although i do not see a purpose for it...

couldn't the newsletter simply be a composition of all the news (or the biggest issues) of a set time period that is posted on the site? for instance, if the newsletter goes out once a month, then the "biggest" lamborghini new stories of that month, which have (probably) been posted on the site, are all gathered and into one newsletter.

and on top of that perhaps stories of people doing modifications/repairs/various other changes (like the column swap) to their lamborghinis, and then add in a lamborghini owner thing such as Itadmin enjoys.

and perhaps some humor, and then elves ahAhhaha
