I have done this conversion on other cars. It is nothing more than removing the sealed glass headlight, and replacing it with a plastic one with a hole in the back to put in a replacement bulb. The xenon bulbs are a little brighter, but not a huge difference. It did not seem to draw any more power than a standard lamp. H4 is a standard size. There are several upgraded bulbs available.
Things do not get real crazy until you look at the real h.i.d. lamps. Big time light, big time $$$. Lots of wiring, and a module needs to be installed. Thet draw a considerable amount of power. ![]() |

get something in the 4600K range....anything above that you will have a hard time seeing at night. Your eyes can only pick up a certain spectrum of light. if you go higher than that 4600K range..it will be like driving with black lights.

I was gonna do it but too pricey just for lights. I just burn the high beams. I guess putting a relay and fuse in so the fog lights would work would help too?
