Default WTB Laptop for Airbag/ABS & diagnostics for Diablo

Lamborghini wants about $10K for their laptop that will reset and diagnostics the codes. Does anybody know where (or if) I can purchase a used unit? If I purchase a used unit, can I still get updates for the software?

Thanks.
Ken

The $10,000 system from where? If its the system based out of Boston Mass. comes with laptop and software. There are safeguards built into the system....for all lambo's. Older versions I believe available at ferraribooks.com. The most recent older version had serious problems "caused accidents" that it was drop quickly in lew of the $10,000 system. The oldest of the versions works but is a read and monitor only. Both older versions need older cables that dealerships were given incentives to turn in for new systems. Some still floating around. Older versions for diablo 6.0 and older.

I can get the information you are looking for...at my office tomorrow. The contact is in Boston. The lambo diagnostic system is what is used currently by lambo dealers. My understanding is that the Boston contact is the software developer, designer and tech support for lambo. In the US because of some freedom act it is available to dealers and anyone interested.
