Default Today I started pulling my engine out of my Diablo.

I tell you what, I was a bit nervous doing this myself for the first time, but while I was digging into it, it's not that bad if you have the right tools. It's pretty straight forward. I think the 2nd time I do this, I could have the engine on the floor in about 4-5 hours tops!

I will post some pictures later. I got to run to the store to pick up some wrenches that are big enough to take off the oil lines. I am getting pretty excited about the engine finally coming out and man oh man! I can also powder coat in my garage now! So everything that can be cleaned and coated will be...to help protect the parts.

Stainless steel will be also added to the car for a nice clean look.

okay..back to work...but like I said I will post pictures of my adventure.

I am pulling it out due to a broken shaft plus while it's out I am doing many different things to it.

Well I am done pulling out the engine. I would say it took me about 6-7 hours
to do it. It's my first time pulling any engine out of a car and I decided to
start off with a Lamborghini engine....might as well go for the best on the first shot huh?

Here is a picture of my brother Jon who helped me out. It's really not that
complicated to do and just time consuming. One of my piece of advice to
anyone is who is going to pull their engine out... label everything! Also I
learned a few tricks on some things.

I will post more of a write up on this experience.

3 people, that's smart...pulling these engines is very touchy to avoid that horrifying utterance = "OOPPPPSS"....

Good Job, keep us posted!
