I know this topic has been done to death but I just want a quick tally of opinions and advice about putting straight pipes onto my '92 Diablo.
A quick vehicle history.
I'm doing a complete engine rebuild (car as well for that matter). The car went back to Lamborghini in Italy (previous owner) in '96, from Hong Kong, for new interior and engine management system. They also shaved 4mm off the heads, upped the compression, and did some nifty work to pump out quite a bit more horsepower. Anyway it's time for open heart surgery again.
I certainly dont have the funds of the previous owner to send it back home so she is staying put in HK this time!
I have bought a 30th anniversary intake manifold which I'm bolting on and also want to put straight pipes onto it. I have heard rumours of loss of torque due lack of or less exhaust pressure. Any truth in this? Also just how loud will it be now? Inside and out?
