Default Steering rack on the Diablo's

Anyone know if if the Diablo shares the same power steering rack with another car?

I may buy a power steering rack and retro fit it to work on the Diablo. Doesn't seem that hard to do...but wanted to check first before I start researching it.

I know he is doing one right now, but not sure when he is going to be done. I was wanting to do something soon to mine since I have it apart. It doesn't look too hard to do if I make new mounts..etc...but hopefully Frank will have his done to show. I am sure it will be very cool!

Speaking of the devil.....

Adam - I did it and it's killer. I have an extra complete kit we made... It includes a new Lambo rack (btw some are made by TRW) and a special adapter that matches the splines to the rack from the stock steering shaft. It's a Lambo part... this thing is only 1 inch long and they want $300 bucks for the stupid thing. Anybody in the future that wants to do it will have a hard time getting the adapter, as I bought everything in inventory (3). My shop guy says he can make the same thing for about $40! Anyway, we ran an electric pump hidden in the trunk.

I need to leave in a few minutes but I can tell you later how to set it up, what to buy or sell you my extra kit...

Hi Frank,

Do you have more steering rack for Diablo?

What is the TRW's part number?

Is there a difference between power and non-power steering rack ?

What is the lambo part number for the adapter that you said it's needed?Have you made the adapter?

Adam,

I would not buy a steering rack even if you wanted to sell it to me for 1 penny.I don't trust you for a second.

I don't need your help and never asked for it.I have a very knowledgeable Lambo tech that I'm very happy with .

Why would I ask you anything? You're the one with a million questions in your posts.

I've done all the Mods that you're trying to do to your car.The difference is that I'm driving my Diablos and your car is still in pieces.

I must have made you very mad because you keep calling me names. You have no class.

make up your mind which user name you are going to use. Tony1 or Lambo9999.

Like I said you are just an idiot with no clue. By the way you can't buy a rack from Lambostuff for their price they have advertised.

By the way I wouldn't even sell your own mother to you so why would you think I would sell anything to you? You want to dish out sh*t and now you are crying because I call you a few true names.
