heres the deal, bought an 04 egear that had ballasts and headlights stolen, didnt buy the the lambo ballasts/headlights but bought german audi/VW and xenon lights off ebay. dont say "oh you should have bought OEM" none of us should pay 500.00 a bulb and 1100 a ballast. anyways work fine in car but they seem a little dim, dealer isnt the best help and of course they are only open in daytime so headlights dont seem dim in daytime. any ideas other than im an idiot? light works ballast works but not as bright, doesnt seem to be any adjustment for directing beam, light seems to shine a little high also what exact bulbs do i need, any audi vw spec bulbs the same? thanx guys

You can find a parts catalog on the left column under information. Take time going over it, it's really neat. If its not bright then the color temp. is higher than stock 4300k. Are your HID blueish like the audi or white? |

I agree with H0 FI. If you are going to do aftermarket HID's don't go above 6000k. The average stock are around 4300k (some are lower than that I have heard). I personally anything above 6000k looks ricer, it doesnt have the normal xenon look.
