Default leaking water pump

Has anyone had any luck rebuilding the waterpump on a 91 diablo. Mine is leaking and they want a thousand bucks for a new one! I seem to find that offensive. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know

OK - Or if you have another resource it would be good to have. I started a reference book of misc stuff for possible futrue use.

Only thing about Dick is that he may have been impacted by the storm. Hope not.
