Default Injected 2 Valve Countach

Does anyone have any knowledge as the the power increase or decrease realized on the grey market Countach's that were converted to fuel injection.
I believe the horsepower of the mid eighties carbed cars were around 385 or so. Anyone know the difference for FI?
How many converted?
I see this as perhaps collectible or not so much, I am not sure.
Thoughts?

Carbed LP500s has 375 bhp, the injected version with catalyst of the factory had 336bhp.

Thanks Raymond. Was it a factory job, to allow them to get into the states or did a compliance company handle it stateside?

The LP5000s was federalized by Travis Parker with another importer I forgot the name at the moment, was talked about on the yahoo-list.
The factory simply copied their stuff because they were not able to pass...

There was a time when they were not importable to the states I believe so some were converted stateside.
I just wonder if the conversions were done well.
Any idea of value difference to a carbed car?
1984 as an example.

I have no idea of the US market, in europe you can't sell an injected LP500s at all, Affolter had CLA12518 for years till it finally sold to US again.
That was was originally a carbed german car till it was converted and exported to US, titled in Phoenix.

We have a single injected QV in Switzerland, must be an import from US or arabia since it has the ugly rear bumper.

Injected 25th are only reimports from US, no european country had the injection as a must.

I had suspicions that this would be the least sought after car of the Countach lineage.
I think I will pass on the one I was looking at.
Thanks for the input.

IME the LP400S series II is the least desirable CT, the LP500s is much better sorted out, has huge more torque and power, the entire car is better engineered.
The only LP400S which I would buy is a Series I.

i agree
S2 have the later "hi" body, same as the 5 liter cars, so are +-150 kg heavier than a lowbody, and they also generally have the 40 weber engine that gives 20 hp less than a old 45 weber engine

S2 are as heavy and tall as a 5000s or a qv, without the power and torque upgrade of the 5 liter models

p.s. least desirable for me are 25th (only for design) and FI pre QV cars ( badly developed)
