Default I think I have the early Diablo hard clutch peddle issue resolved

After trying to figure it out and looking at pictures for awhile, it appears that the earlier diablo models use a different pressure plate, throw out bearing, and maybe release fork than the later model ones. The early diablo's pull on the fingers of the pressure plate away from the flywheel to release the clutch. Late model diablos you have to push the fingers towards the flywheel to release the clutch.

So for the early Diablos to have to have the following to make it easier on peddle clutch pressure, you would need late a late model pressure plate, throw out bearing, release forks...not sure about the flywheel, but I think the flywheel is the same. You would also need the new slave and connecting rod for the release lever. So to convert to the late model for way easier clutch pressure wouldn't be too bad of a job to do. If you have your engine out it might be worth looking into this. It would appear it would be less than $1800 to do this...not counting the clutch.

Thanks silvergts1998 for the information.
I too looking to solve my 93 Diablo forever the same way I did with the Alt.
I am however, going to approach this problem different than what you have pointed out. I have been looking at another Slave cylinder which I will mount it differently than the current setup using a special made bracket (see pictures ).

In my opinion this is how Lamborghini should have installed the salve cylinder rather than using the rod with the offset angel.
I hope with this setup the clutch will be softer and more reliable.
I am currently searching for a heavy duty salve cylinder and once I find one I will carry out the modifications and will defiantly keep you posted

That is nice. If it's better than the one I am doing, then that is great! I would rather go that route due to the fact of cost savings, who makes that slave? When do you think you will have yours done?

Lamb0128 shouldn't have issues with his clutch...it's the later model one...

Thanks for the link. I think changing the pressure plate also will help out.

I am going to look ad see what can be done with the hydraulic links you gave me.

Will that one fit in the housing on the side of the diablo transmission?

Lambo128 does not have any issue i just asked him for gear pictures .

I have no issue with the clutch when I am driving the car my problem always been with the first and reverse gears .
I use these gears (R&1) a lot when I have to park, basically I have to do a lot of maneuvering to park the lambo next to my BMW due to limited parking space.

Do you have the same problem ? Or you have issues with all gears ?

Chad thanks for the info but that cylinder looks different than the one I posted am I correct ?
