i have never encountered this and i would never expect this should happen. this is nothing typical; if you got ti from a dealer i would announce it and then keep everyone informed as to the response.
if it was from a private owner you are probably screwed; he knew about it. |

the hayabusa problem disappeared? very weird. I have rebuilt tons of hayabusa transmissions. You must have bent the shifting fork back in the other direction. If it comes back get the transmission undercut. All the under cut ones we have done have not blown out again, oh and replace all the shifting forks. A car transmission is different than a motorcycle but they still have shifting forks. IF one is bent or you have worn bearings it can pop out of gear. I believe a syncro can also add to this. You could try adjusting the shift linkage under the car, but I would think that if it works in all the other gears it is probably adjusted correctly.

Suzukidave looks like you do lot of work on Hayabusa bikes that it great to know
. It is weird I know , the problem disappeared by itself I am not sure what i did right or wrong but my bike is doing vey well . I will check the tranny , can I remove the tranny without the engine ? or do i need to take the engine out as well ? Thanks |

. Anyway I took the Lambo for a drive three times since I posted this thread and so far so good ; The gear does not pop out anymore I hope this is the end of it . I now have another problem I guess this is my Journey to Discovery i will post it in another thred Thanks ![]() |
