Default Diablo VT 94 - Problem starting

Hi
My 94 VT Diablo had problems starting today after driving it for about 30 minutes. I took it out for a run and when returning home some people wanted to take some photos of it so I parked it on a slight angle (10 to 15 degrees with nose up high, tail down low) for about 20 minutes.
When trying to start the car to return it to the garage, it tried to start but wouldn't idle. It was almost like it was starved of fuel but funnily enough I could smell fuel.
I have half a tank of fuel in the car.
My thought is on the angle the car was positioned, the fuel had trouble pumping but that is only a thought.
After 4 tries of the car starting and stopping after 3 to 4 seconds, the car started and it was fine to put away. I had it idling for a number of minutes and everything seemed fine. I am not too sure though on why it wouldn't start.
If anyone can give me an answer, I would be much appreciative as I try very hard to keep the car in perfect order.
Thanks again for all your help on this and other problems in the past.

Dear Lamborghinisti,

Topcarbon mentioned on another site that due to angle, it might be fuel starvation.

I was wondering if it triggered the antirollover fuel shut off valve (most cars have this...don't know about lambo )

Also, when you get a non-start on a hot engine, could be a check valve. BTW, could you hear the fuel pumps purring?

A Diablo is like a hot tall thin blonde. Sooo seductive, you just keep putting up with her crap. Buying her high-heels or headers, you know she costs you a fortune. But riding her....oh soooo good!

I can't invision the incline causing a problem, having the fuel pumps give me a good bath tells me there's plenty of pressure there. If not, the car wouldn't run well even when level.

I have the same proplem... Vapor lock.... If it sat for say 20-30 after a good hard run it would fire and not idel. If I went to start in say 5-10 it had no issue. Just like you said seemed like no fuel yet you could smell it. I just would crank it.. feather pedal to relieve pressure and sure enough resolve her issue.... And off we go... It only happens when outside temps and car are hot. Mr. George Evans who does my work explaned this "Gremlin" to me. Keep the tank full....
