Default Diablo: non-functional turn signals

Greetings ... I searched the forum but didn't see anything related (although I may not have searched on the right words). My '99 VT has issues with the front L/R turn signals. The two side-facing lights don't work at all, and the Left turn signal blinks double-time; it also switches the wrong one (uses the white fog light (not the Hella) instead of the yellow one). I took out the lights on both sides, inspected the wiring and bulbs, and everything appears to be where it should ... but I can't sort it out.

If anyone has seen this and knows a fix, that'd be great. Thanks,

--Joel

Get the Multi Meter out and see if there is power getting to the bulbs when it is supposed to be there.

Sometimes a blown bulb can cause a short circuit and cause weird actions to happen. My daughters 300ZX Nissan Cruise Control stopped working and the headlights stayed up when you had the brakes on and it was all traced to one faulty tail light bulb. So check the bulbs with the multimeter too.

Trace the wires back to see if there maybe some damage that is causing them to cross power.

Last resort, give it to me and go buy a new Mercielago.
