What shall be written in it?
How to remove and install the engine?
That's quite simple when you have the wright equipment, the engine itself isn't that complicate, an experienced mechanic can do it without problem.

Please ask here what you want to know, many details you can find also on my homepage and in the owners manual.

BTW: I added many pictures to my Garage: http://www.lamborghini-talk.com/vbfo...vehicle&vid=82

Ah but it is the tiny little bits of information/tips that makes the difference.

Anyway thanks again Raymond

The black F40 gets soon a Michelotti engine with 3,4l and approx. 700bhp the car is the very last built F40, and first owner was nobody else than Luca di Montezemolo

My car is running well, needs some Kilometers to set all in place, after the next weekend when I take part the journey of the german club it will have 1200 Kilometers more. Then the carbs and ignition will be checked and readjusted. At the moment not all 12 are running on idle sometimes, we suppose the reason could be the new denso plugs.

Hi Raymond:

You've done a great job of documenting your experiences. Should come in very useful to anybody doing their own work on the Countach and also give a greater appreciation of the work involved to others who rely on mechanics to do their repairs. Reads almost like a mystery novel for the Lamborghini Countach!

I noticed you have some kind of sheathing covering the fuel lines. Could you elaborate on this? Also, a few more pictures showing where on the engine/transmission you attached the chains and cords to lift the engine and the transmisssion would be useful.

Thanks,

Nash Bapasola

The fuel and oil hoses are done with
Thermotec thermo sleeves or another product of DEI
http://www.thermotec.com/products/full/14005/14005.html

http://www.designengineering.com/

I don't know which one because I bought it by meter from a local race parts specialist.

I don't have any further pictures how to attach the engine, I think it's obvious enough on the ones I have on my homepage.
