i believe you are one of the greatest countach knowers so i have an other little question for you: you said in the past anniversary CT are more reliable and better than QV( loock apart), why do you told it? i am very curous about that ,emilio

The 25th Anniversario got some great development through the entire car, the whole interior was made more practical, the engine bay was sorted out and, and...
Since I live in Switzerland I can only buy a car up to october 1986. If I would live outside switzerland I would buy a 1988,5 QV, the latest before the Anniversary.

As you know I decided to sell my Larini Headers because I already have SS pieces, today I sanded them with scotch, then painted with antirust and finally the flanges will be painted with heatresistent silver to match the cylinder head.
   This is a the first set of headers I prepared for my car, I got them from an owner in UK who installed a complete SS exhaust system (I think quicksilver), you can see that the original Lamborghini headers are welded together from several pieces:  Finally I keep the ones I have on my car, these chromed are already sold to Germany, the Larini's will also go away one day...

Today I begun to insulate the engine bay:
   Saturday I will do the entire gearbox channel and some more parts of the bay. We also discussed to move the fuel filter to the left tank instead of the original location and then insulate also the fuel line... Advantage of this is also that the y-line you can see on the left will be hidden behind the heat protection.

For not being bored during the week I detailed the water pump a little bit:
 After brushing away the hardest alu surface:  And finally polished:   Tomorrow I'll finish the last header and will work on my race car. Saturday the big installation day will come, the engine will be put together.

Today we wrapped the headers:
  I insulated the engine bay and gearbox channel:   We will change the fuel lines, totally stupid how the placed the lines and also the electric lines of the fuel pumps will be removed behind the now insulated protection.

What is not funny is the state of the clutch plate and flywheel:
 But the engine is clean now...  This old hoses are loosing the oil, not the block
