On weekend we will be able to test the 2 radiators against each other, the cause for the high temperature is also found!
The Thermostat was bad, not opening enough...

Good news from the race track, the car didn't get hotter than 100 degrees C,
Oil temperature raised too much (140 degrees C).
I will reconnect the second oil cooler in front of the right water radiator again but with a thermostat valve.
The spare part priece of Lamborghini for the one of the LP5000s is ridicolous, perhaps I can take the one of the Diablo.

Today I installed (after the hood struts of Tahiti) the cooling mask of the Porsche 944, as can be seen on the picture it didn't fit 100%.
Already took it off and changed the mounts a bit, next try this evening.
I'm anxious to know how it works on the road with hot engine, air flow is much better than with just the fan without a mask, no more flowback through the radiator like with the simple fan.

Stay tuned...

Since speed2 PN-box is full I post it here:

Yes, we needed about 5-6 hours to remove the engine, and about 8 hours to reinstall it.

Last time my mechanic was doing it completely alone on the car I have posted pictures of the broken engine.
Why you should not buy a garage queen...

If you have the lift you can see on the reinstall page it's easy to do. he will do it in the mentioned time, completely alone without any help...

The more he did the more he's used too, every time you get faster because you know then the tricks and traps.

Yes I agree with Raymond, with the right guy, and more importantly the right experience that should be the right amount of time.

Raymond, it might just be me, but the pictures attached to your link look like they have been corrupted.

Thanks Raymond, by the way I found the weight for the engine and gearbox, including starter motor, but not carbs etc the weight is 320kg +/- or 700 Lbs for our US cousins.

From october 1986 on all new imported cars had to have catalysts, they never homologized the Countach with injection and catalysts, although it was possible, so from 1986 up to 1990 with the Diablo no new car in Switzerland...

That was the reason why swiss Dealer Bobnar bought the entire September 1986 production from the factory.

Beside this there were some few cars (Bobnar has a white and a black 25th injected from California) which were imported and homologized on own costs, I know of 1 QV and 2 25th, plus we have some carbed 25th but those were never registred and only moved on dealer plates...

a little off topic
even homologate a Swiss car in Italy has similar kind of problems:
you can homologate only 20+ years old cars after the ASI has given you the proper paper (i had spent 1 year doing this including 1 trip to Bologna to the ASI people to see the car, 1 to Motorizzazione)
at the end it was well worth it but a very long and frustrating procedure

In future I can work on my cars also at home

Meanwhile a very good car electrician replaced the relay box in the trunk and I changed the Porsche 944 radiator fans back to the ones of the 25th Anniversary.
