OK, it doesn't matter the engine remove but since this thread is mainly about my car I post this here:

My car is mentioned in the Owners manual of the 1988 print, there are at least 2 different owner manuals for the QV. the first version from about 1985 shows only the old dashboard like the LP5000s has.
I have already the newer one and according to the owners manual I bought recently on ebay Germany from 1988 right after my car they switched to the 1988,5 dashboard with the Climate Control unit like in the 25th.

I have to check the pictures of the later cars since I don't think this is correct, anyway I'm a little bit proud that my VIN is mentioned in that version (page 23 and 25).
It seems that they made the error on page 19 since my car seems to be the first one with the enlarged dashboard an changed light control and central AC controls. But the Automatic Climate Control came definitely in 1988, mine is built in April/May 1986.

That's great that your car is mentioned by number in one of the manuals.
I agree with you though, and it is an error that they changed the setup that early (in 86), because it wasn't until much later. My car is an 88 an looks just like yours as far as switches and vents go.
