Default Countach Gas Tanks

I put gas in both tanks, but was wondering something. Since there is no switch to change from tank to tank, and only one fuel gauge, isn't it easy to run one tank empty on a long drive? Does the fuel even out or does it drain from both at the same time?

Depends which CT version you're talking about...

The LP400/LP400s had 2 independed tanks with 2 fillers, there you might run into problems when filling only one side, there is a Y-connection before the first pump but it showed to be too small, the fuel needs too long from one tank to the other, so you have to refuel both sides.
The pumps run in serial order whereas the later models have the pumps running parallel.

LP500s has one filler, the pumps take the fuel from both tanks, there is a Y-connection between the tanks (where the two lines go to the pumps).
Still the problem with filling, worse than the LP400/s because you have only one filler.

The QV/25th have a huge SS tube as connection between the 2 tanks, the problem with filling from one side is now 90% solved.

You need to spend more time learing about your car. The tanks are connected.
