Going to check over the chassis on the 25 in the New Year when she's on the ramps and touch up any missing paint.(from a casual look it all looks very clean, seems like it's had a good life)
Has any one got any advice on any further anti rust treatments over the painted tubes on the underside, ie wax oil etc or alternatives. Are they good or bad for the car. Are there any areas that need special attention (more rust prone)? I'm in the UK and I didn't buy the car to store, only to use-though not while we have salt on the roads in the winter. But I don't want any water based corrosion starting in places that you can't get paint to-or never was! Any advice would be great. |

There are electronic items like this that produce an electical current to prevent rust and corrosion. I do not know how affective they are but have seen them advertised. Hope it helps, Sincerely Vic
