I let my 92 Diablo sit for about 2 weeks and went to take it out for a drive tonight and the battery was too low. Is there a way to charge the battery without taking it out of the car?? I've owned a lot of cars, but have no idea where to hook up the charger on a Diablo. Any help would be great!

Car batteries DO deteriorate do to consistant low charges so we want to keep them at 100%. There is a great product out there called "The battery tender" that maintains a consistant 12.8 volts (100% charge). It will also charge a low battery. It's about the size of a video tape and has a simple plug you can hide inconspicuously. You just plug it in when you store, or park for a while.
BAM! always fully charged...... I have no relations to the company and this is not spam!

This is the best and most responsive forum I've ever been to. Thanks for the quick help!
Oh, and I live in West Virginia and the weather hasn't been very good. That's the only reason for it sitting. Otherwise I love to drive it! Thanks again, Colin |

Colin,
next time ----- there IS a Battery + source in the engine compartment on early cars. On the left frame rail near the front of the engine compartment there is a isolated block (brown) with 2 large plus wires bolted to it covered on the ends by large rubber boots. You can peel back either one of the rubber boots for a direct + link to the battery and the engine block as mentioned for the ground (-) connection. |
