When Marcel is done with this mess..fine tuning, Raymond's magic box and a few extra hp, this thing will be like a brand new engine...!..probably even better than when it went out of the factory.
AND...I still have the master's original signature behind my left seat

Once the engine is back in, I plan to have the cockpit refurbished (maybe next winter), and will ask for a special treatment to preserve the signature. I was also thinking of a sort of leather flap to cover it and protect it from the sun. I don't know yet..but I am not taking it out of the car..I have enought troubles with the engine, I don't need Ferrucio's curse on me

Today I installed my ignition box on Eric's car, I have now also a working solution for the LP5000s, the only one so far with a perfect working tacho...

I updated my ignition page adding pictures of Eric's Tahiti

Eric's engine is at the rebuilder, they already cleaned the block, it was definitely sand from the casting which destroyed the engine.
They opened and cleaned everything, not a single sand corn will remain in there.
The crank is almost done, they use a larger axial bearing and install also a lubrication bore in the crank to grease that bearing better, all bearings will be replaced (also the ones of the chain).

At the moment we wait only for a decision how to go on with the piston rings and then the engine will be put together.
