Jef. You said it....the French police have lost their sense of humour completely... Used to be fun driving in France.

I would like to book a hotel on line. Any suggestions?
I suggest to take the German highway, it might be faster... A5 has also a direct link to the swiss highway you can follow.
In switzerland you follow direction Luzern on the Highway A2 till Zofingen where you stay on the A1 following till Schoeftland, Koelliken.
Best is to give me a phone call and we can pick you up with the 2 CT's or lead you to Marcels place.

After more than a year of technical fix up of Tahiti where Eric and me got some sarcastic comments we need to make some black humour...

Eric, any ideas for the hotel so far, shall we look around near Marcel's place?

The "fine tuning" of the trip is not set yet...Probably 2 persons from March 7 night to March 11 morning. I'd sure be grateful if you can have a look around Marcel's. Thanks

@Eric and Jef

How about this hotel? Hotel Angel or this Platanen-Hof

Both are in the next village where I live, have a good reputation, a good cuisine and to Marcel it takes about 20-25 Minutes. So we could sit together in the evening and talk about our favorite cars and have some good food and drinks...

Eric, where do you let Tahiti during night, I suppose at Marcel, also from saturday to sunday?
Perhaps I can arrange a garage with the owner of the orange diablo sv in my village for saturday to sunday.

Platanen-Hof has a own Garage under the hotel: http://www.platanenhof.ch/infrastruktur_e.php

Hey guys,
The trip is almost set...I'll be arriving March 7, probably in the afternoon, will rent a car and will go straight to Marcel's (you bet ! ).
I've sent a request to the Platanen Hof for a room from 7 to 10 March. Waiting for the confirmation.
Raymond, yes, that is the plan...drive "around" the garage everyday (trying to get the 1200/1500 kms, so Marcel can do the first torque checks and fluids changes before I hit the road for good), and bring the car back to Marcel's every evening. I hope he understood that this is the plan. If not, I'll keep the car in the hotel garage then..hoping a Countach can get down there.. I guess Macel is not working on Saturdays, so If everything goes well, I will for sure keep the car with me the night of Friday to Saturday. Not sure when I'll drive back to Paris though..depending on what time Jerome gets in Basel (arriving from Rio de Janeiro/Paris/Basel...) Might be on Sunday as planned, but might also be on Monday. Will let you know the final timing when I have more details.

ps : I have ask the hotel to book me a room as far as possible to a certain Mr Jef...hang-overs and Lamborghinis don;t go very well together ..can't wait to meet you there Jef

I gather some Lambo's ARE hang-overs. Not the Tahiti though, I'm pretty sure. Can't wait.
